Croft wins Berry Invitational

Douglas County High School Senior Cross-Country runner, McKenna Croft, finished 1st in the Berry College Invitational this weekend.  Croft, who was the state runner-up last season, finished 1st out of 155 competitors, from over 20 schools.  Croft’s time of 19:02 is her fastest time of this young Cross-Country season.

Croft named 1st team All-Metro by Atlanta Track Club

4 days after her Runner-Up finish in the GHSA AAAAAA state cross-country meet, DC Junior runner, McKenna Croft, was named 1st team All-Metro by the Atlanta Track Club.  Croft missed all of her Sophomore season, due to injury, but returned this year to win the Region Championship, in addition to her state Runner-Up finish.

Lady Tigers XC finishes 3rd in Region Championship Meet – Croft Wins with Personal Best

The Douglas County Lady Tigers Cross-Country team finished yesterday’s Region 5-AAAAAA championship meet in 3rd place.  The Lady Tigers were led by Junior runner, McKenna Croft, who finished the race a full minute ahead of the 2nd place finisher.  Croft also ran a personal best time of 17:51, a time that elapsed her previous personal

Cross-Country defeats Pebblebrook

DC Boys & Girls Cross-Country teams were victorious in their meet vs. Pebblebrook on Thursday.  McKenna Croft placed 1st for the girls, while Wataru Yamagishi finished 1st for the boys.  Other noteable finishers for the Tigers included Nina Henry (2nd) & YaYa Molina-Castro (4th) for the girls and Antonius Ben (4th) & Jacob Adams (7)
