Douglas County Lady Tigers Varsity couldn’t keep up with Sprayberry and fell 12-2 on Wednesday.

Douglas County Lady Tigers Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Skylar Soli doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Sprayberry pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Danielle Sharum doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run and Ava Davenport singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Sprayberry scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Taylor Wood, Sharum, Cate Willhoff, Morgan Koshko, Davenport, and Tori Mitchum each had RBIs in the big inning.
Graceyn Powell was in the pitcher’s circle for Sprayberry. She allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two.

Kaila Phillips was in the circle for Douglas County Lady Tigers Varsity . She allowed five hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out one. Kaylee Taylor threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Emily Cudziol, Phillips, Megan Phillips, and Soli each collected one hit to lead Douglas County Lady Tigers Varsity .
