The Douglas County Lady Tigers placed two players on the Region 5-AAAAAA All-Region team for the 2019 Volleyball season. Senior Kharleigh Fripp was named Region Player of the Year. Douglas County senior Cross-Country runner, McKenna Croft, was recently chosen to represent Team Georgia at the upcoming Footlocker South Regional race, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Each year, the Georgia Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association selects the Top 15 runners in the state to participate in the regional competition.
