Douglas County Senior Forward, Amari Robinson, recently signed a National Letter of Intent to attend & play basketball at Clemson University.  Robinson chose Clemson over numerous other Division 1 programs.  Robinson, Douglas County High School’s All-Time leading scorer & reigning Region 5-6A Player of The Year, is also the All-Time leading scorer for the Douglas

Croft named 1st team All-Metro by Atlanta Track Club

4 days after her Runner-Up finish in the GHSA AAAAAA state cross-country meet, DC Junior runner, McKenna Croft, was named 1st team All-Metro by the Atlanta Track Club.  Croft missed all of her Sophomore season, due to injury, but returned this year to win the Region Championship, in addition to her state Runner-Up finish.

Collins named state winner of Wendy’s High School Heisman award

Douglas County Senior QB Marquise’ Collins was recently named the Wendy’s High School Heisman winner for the state of Georgia.  Collins is the 1st winner of the award from the Douglas County School System.  Collins was chosen over numerous nominees throughout the state of the Georgia.  Collins is now eligible for the national competition, to

Lady Tigers Comp Cheer headed to state competition

 The Douglas County Tigers Competition Cheer squad will be competing in the GHSA State competition cheer championships this Saturday in Columbus, GA.  The Lady Tigers earned a trip to the state championship by finishing 3rd in last week’s Region championship in Carrollton.

Tiger Sharks win county swim meet

The Douglas County boys & girls swim teams, also known as the “Tiger Sharks”, defeated Alexander, Chapel Hill, Lithia Springs and New Manchester in a county swim meet at Boundary Waters Aquatic Center in Douglasville. DC Competition Cheer qualifies for State

The Douglas County Competition Cheer squad earns a 3rd place finish in Saturday’s Area cheer competition at the University of West Georgia.  The Lady Tigers 3rd place finish qualifies them for the State cheer competition in Columbus next Friday, November 9th.
