DC Student-Athletes Participate in 1st Annual “Tigers Read” Program

As part of the 1st Annual DCHS “Tigers Read” program, several student-athletes from Douglas County High School visited local Elementary Schools to read to their students. DCHS student-athletes visited North Douglas Elementary, Winston Elementary, Mirror Lakes Elementary, Burnett Elementary, and Eastside Elementary schools Thursday morning and read to students from grades K-5.

The Douglas County Tigers boy’s basketball team will travel to Canton, GA to face the Sequoyah Chiefs on Thursday, February 21 at 7:00 pm.  The Tigers (20-9) advanced to the Sweet 16 with a convincing road win over Apalachee.
