The Douglas County High School basketball programs will tip off their season on Friday. COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines have placed serious limitations on the number of fans allowed to attend. For away contest, DCHS will follow the guidelines set forth by the home school. The following will apply to DCHS home games:
NO GENERAL ADMISSION tickets will be made available to the public. The Douglas County School System has implemented a 2 ticket system, in which each student-athlete participating on either basketball team, cheer squad or dance team, will be permitted to purchase 2 tickets for each contest. DCHS will not be selling individual game tickets this season. Each student-athlete will have the opportunity to purchase 2 season passes at a cost of $50 each. This pass will cover the cost of attendance for 10+ home games. Details for purchasing the passes have been shared with each student-athlete by their coach/sponsor.
All home contest will be streamed live via the NFHS Network at www.nfhsnetwork.com. A subscription ($10/month or $60/year) is required to view the live stream. The subscription will allow you to view ALL DCHS athletic events.
Social distancing will be promoted and face coverings ARE REQUIRED for ALL patrons entering the contest.
We understand the frustration that the current policy may cause, but we hope that you will continue to support the student-athletes of Douglas County High School.
