Tigers News · Baxter Named New DCHS Head Athletic Trainer


The Douglas County High School Athletic program will begin the 2019-2020 school year with a new Head Athletic Trainer.  Rachel Baxter, of Drayer Therapy, has been named the new Head Athletic Trainer for the Tigers.  Baxter is a BOC certified Athletic Trainer and is also licensed by the state of Georgia.

Baxter is a native of Douglasville & graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science & Wellness.  She also possesses two Masters Degrees.  One in Sports Management, from Jacksonville State University, and another in Athletic Training from Life University.

Baxter is no stranger to Douglas County High School, as she assisted former DCHS Head Athletic Trainer, Dani Hall, in 2018.
